15 W-League players on Canada's Women's World Cup roster

Fifteen of the 20-player Canadian Women's National Team roster announced yesterday for the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup are current or former W-League players.
The Vancouver Whitecaps saw the most named to the team eight on the squad. Four members from the Ottawa Fury were named to the team along with one from the third Canadian club Toronto Inferno.
W-League alumni Charmaine Hooper, Andrea Neil and Silvana Burtini have been selected to their third consecutive World Cup.
