BEDMINSTER, NJ - Sky Blue announced today that Lisa Chinn and Sarra Moller will return to its W-League team Jersey Sky Blue for the 2008 season. Both players joined Sky Blue during the team’s first-ever season in the W-League last year and helped the team to a 12-2 mark and a spot in the playoffs.

Chinn and Moller return to Sky Blue after successful college seasons last fall - Chinn at Princeton University and Moller at Loyola University in Maryland.

The two New Jersey natives should be with Jersey Sky Blue when the team opens its second season in the W-League on May 10 on the road against the Boston Renegades. Sky Blue will make its 2008 home debut on Saturday, May 31 when it hosts the Renegades at 7:30 pm at Drew University.

"Both Lisa and Sarra came to us last year during our open tryout," said Jersey Sky Blue Head Coach Denise Reddy. "Right away we saw their potential and we invited them to join the team. Sarra is a very solid 1-v-1 defender with good speed and strength while Lisa is technically strong and strikes a great ball."

Chinn made two regular season appearances last season and also played in Jersey Sky Blue’s 3-1 victory over the Northern Virginia Majestics in the opening round of the W-League playoffs. The East Brunswick, NJ native started all 14 games that she appeared in this past fall at Princeton helping the Tigers to an 8-8-1 mark. Chinn has 45 career appearances for the Tigers over her first three seasons with the team.
