TAMPA, FL -- FC Indiana women’s team defeated University of South Florida 6-0 in an exhibition game in Tampa, Florida Friday night. Veronica Phewa led all scorers with 2 goals and Kelly Parker added 1 goal and 2 assists.
“There’s still a lot for us to work on,” coach Shek Borkowski said. “We did a poor job of finishing our chances today and our fitness level must improve.”
Goalkeeper Lauren Mason held the USF scoreless, while making one save.
FC Indiana improved to 3-0 in exhibition games and will return to action next Monday with a match against the Tampa Bay Hellenic in Tampa.
