Friday, October 8, 2004 - New Hampshire News Release - www.nhphantoms.com

HAMPSTEAD, NH -- DHT Sports Management, a subdivision of the NH Phantoms ownership, have announced the acquisition of All-Around Sports in Hampstead, NH on October 13th 2004.

The facility located on Route 111 will be the headquarters and new home of the NH Phantoms Professional Soccer club for winter training, and home to all youth programs.
The New Hampshire Phantoms and Lady Phantoms will still play all home matches in Manchester, NH.  The 60,000 sq. ft facility contains three indoor FieldTurf fields where they will run leagues, camps and clinics year round.

The complex will be renamed The PhanZone Sports Center and  will be the premier location for indoor soccer offering 37 different leagues from youth U6 all the way to Men’s and Women’s Open divisions.  An additional feature on the newly installed 3rd field will be Futsal, which is a mini-version of the outdoor game, with no walls and a modified soccer ball.

One of the main benefactors of this complex will be the Phantoms Youth Programs who participate in the United Soccer League’s Super Y-League.  All teams will be able to train and meet year round with full time coaches, meeting rooms, and offices.  In addition, the long term goal is to create a full outdoor stadium for  both the Men’s Phantoms who were recently in the national semi-final of the USL’s Pro Soccer League, and the Lady Phantoms of the USL’s W-League.

The Phantoms will also run various camps and clinics year-round for all ages and competition level. The Phantoms Academy for elite players will help foster the growth of youth players to the collegiate and professional ranks.  Conference rooms for club and team meetings to review film compliments the on field assets of this facility.

In addition to the soccer facilities, there are softball/baseball batting cages for both personal and team use. Flag football leagues, field hockey and lacrosse will also be offered.

A full arcade and party rooms compliment the complex and can accommodate small to large groups.

The sports complex is situated on 20 acres of land and the goal is to open the first outdoor field in the fall of ’05. With the acquisition of the facility the organization is in a position to have a major effect on the development of the game of soccer in the state of New Hampshire.

“This gives us an opportunity to develop soccer in a professional manner with  professional coaches, professional players and professional administrators," said General Manager Jim DeDeus. "We are extremely excited not only for the indoor complex, but for the potential to develop a home stadium for our loyal fans, and families, and general soccer communities”

The NH Phantoms are the State’s only Professional soccer franchise and the NH Lady Phantoms are an amateur women’s team. In addition, the Phantoms have 14 youth teams which compete in the National Super Y league where they play games throughout the region. The NH Phantoms Soccer School is also the NH Soccer Associations state camp provider.
