LOS ANGELES - The LA Strikers have announced the date and times for the open tryouts for their 2013 season. The tryouts will be held on April 5 and 7 at Occidental College. Head Coach Tracey Kevins will run the two-day tryout and will be joined by other Strikers' staff members to help evaluate the players.

The tryouts are free. Attendees should bring appropriate training gear, as well as a birth certificate or passport (drivers license is not acceptable). Every participant will be required to register prior to participation.

"We are excited to be holding these open tryouts," Strikers General Manager Vanessa Valentine said. "We are looking for competitive players that have the talent and desire to help build the Strikers toward a championship season. There are high expectations this year for both our staff and our players. We feel we have the right coach in place, now we are focused on finding the right players with the skills and attitude to complete our goals."

The Strikers will feature some of the best female players from the top colleges from throughout the nation as well as top international players and local players. Please visit the Strikers website for updates and player announcements during the next couple of months. The 2013 W-League season kicks off in May.

Friday April 5
Registration - 6:30-7:30 p.m.
 
Training - 7:30-9 p.m.

Sunday April 7
Registration - 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Session I - 1:30-3 p.m.

Break - 3-4 p.m.

Session II - 4-5:30 p.m.
