CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Lady Eagles have announced an open tryout for the 2013 W-League season. The tryout will be held at Charlotte Latin High School on December 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To register please go to www.charlotteeagles.com and follow the instructions to register online. There is a $50 fee for the tryout that will include a practice shirt and lunch.
The Lady Eagles are coming off their 13
th season in the USL W-League and their 12
th season playing in the post-season after having advanced to the W-League's Eastern Conference Final. As the team looks ahead to the 2013 season, General Manager Jeremy Auyer said he's looking forward to seeing the talent level at the tryout.
“We are extremely excited about our tryout," he said. "Each year we have had a higher quality of players come out and this past year we ended up taking Alex Kubrick, Brooke Mulloy, SarahAnn Waugh, and Robyn Jones from the tryout. I am excited to see who comes out this year to help us meet our goals."
