QUEBEC, QU – Central defender Myriam Bouchard and midfielder Laura Chénard, of the Québec Amiral SC, are among the 24 players selected by Canadian Women’s National Team Head Coach Carolina Morace. Both will play in the Cyprus Cup from Saturday, February 20 to Wednesday, March 3.

The Canadians will play five international games, against Poland, Switzerland, England and South Africa and another team to be determined.

Laura Chénard is fresh off the CONCACAF qualifications with Canada U-20. The national team will attempt next fall to qualify for World Cup 2011, in Germany.
